This learning centre is the Continuing Education Department of HSDB. Providing summer and night school for elementary and high school students as well as adult language and credit courses.

TVO Ilc

A non-profit organization with 140+ high school courses, with no teacher-led sessions and each course having a mandatory final test.

They also offer the Canadian Adult Education Credential that is equivalent to a GED

Self-paced online courses for grades 5 to 12 each of which is paid for individually.

Prisma Online school

Online project-based programs for grades 4 to 12, where students demonstrate understanding by completing a project of their choosing.

Star Academy

Star Academy is a small private school with small class sizes, ranging from 10 to 14 students for kindergarten to grade 8. The small class sizes allow teachers to provide individually attention to each student

Best Brains

Provides individualized attention with teachers working with students 1-on-1 in small groups. Students meet with teachers weekly and practice concepts daily. Best Brains also offers online programs and day camps

The Boundless School

Located in Palmer Rapids (Ontario), Boundless provides adventure-based education through boarding school sessions to earn high school credits and community programs for Indigenous youth.
