Beech Tree Medical Centre is a private practice of consulting pediatricians in Burlington, Ontario. The focus of our practice is children with school/learning/developmental issues and behavioral or mental health concerns. Both Dr. Gerber and Dr. Carson see patients by referral from primary care physicians in order to help diagnose and treat complex and potentially ongoing health care issues. Please note that this office provides consulting appointments only, which means that all appointments are arranged by a primary care practitioner. This office DOES NOT provide primary care.

IMPORTANT UPDATE! AS OF JULY 1, 2025:
As you may or may not know, we have had a longstanding relationship with both Caroline Family Health Team and the Reach Out Centre for Kids (ROCK). After 14 wonderful years serving our community at our cozy office here, this location is no longer an option for us. As such, we are writing to let you know that we are relocating to separate offices -we will each continue to see our existing patients (you!) at our new locations! While we know that change is difficult, our commitment to providing you with the same exceptional care and service remains unchanged. PLEASE SEE THE DETAILS BELOW FOR EACH DOCTOR!

Please note these important details for Dr. Gerber’s new location:
1. PARKING: There are free parking spots (marked RESERVED) for clients who have an appointment at ROCK. If these spaces are all full, there is an adjacent free parking area next to the field. However, there is currently a lot of construction in the area, and unfortunately sometimes there isn’t any free parking available. Paid parking is available for $2/hour on the street or in several parking lots nearby. Please aim to arrive early in case you need to find parking nearby and walk a few blocks.

2. CHECK-IN PROCESS WHEN YOU ARRIVE: When you enter the reception area, you will see 2 sign-in kiosks. Select sign-in, then “I am here to see Dr. Gerber”, and enter your name. You will be asked for your license plate, which is required if you’ve parked in the reserved spaces. If you have parked elsewhere, skip this and press continue. Then, please have a seat in the waiting room and Dr. Gerber will come out to greet you when she’s ready for your appointment. Angela will be working from ROCK on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. She will work virtually on Mondays and Thursdays.
Finally, just a reminder that appointments not confirmed via email TWO BUSINESS DAYS IN ADVANCE will be given to other patients.
We apologize for any inconvenience this causes, but we endeavour to provide the best quality of care for our patients, which requires us to shorten wait lists and minimize the number of appointment “no shows”. Thank you for your understanding.
