Halton District School Board (HDSB) Special Education Services

HDSB provides autism support programs such as in classroom supports and dedicated ASD classrooms. Additionally, HDSB provides behavioural support services to help students manage behaviours and develop coping strategies.

Pathways to Education

For high school students with autism, offers support programs to help students succeed in their academic goals. The program offers mentorship, tutoring, and financial assistance to support students in navigating their educational journey and transitioning into post-secondary education or employment.

McMaster Children’s Hospital ASD Program

Provides diagnostic assessments and ongoing treatment for children with autism. Offers specialized clinic services, including behavioral therapy, developmental assessments, and family support.


Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board (HWDSB) Special Education Services

HWDSB offers specialized programs for students with autism, including both in-class support and dedicated Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) classrooms. These programs help students with individualized education plans (IEPs) that cater to their specific needs.
